Make an important contribution and a special connection with the animals at the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium by joining the Aquadoption program.
Aquadoption gives everyone the opportunity to be involved in the care and feeding of an animal at the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium.
Eight different species on display at the Aquarium are available for adoption. By adopting, you make a commitment to keeping the Santa Monica Bay and its animals healthy and safe. And by giving an animal adoption as a gift, you introduce others to the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium, helping them gain a greater understanding of the ocean so they may become stewards of the marine environment.
All Aquadoptions are good for one year and make perfect gifts. Those who adopt receive a photo and fact sheet about the animal, along with literature about the Aquarium and Heal the Bay. Two free family passes are also included so that recipients can visit their foster animal.
To join the Aquadoption program, simply print the Aquadoption Order Form, and mail it with your check or credit card information to: AQUADOPTION/ Santa Monica Pier Aquarium, 1600 Ocean Front Walk, Santa Monica, CA 90401. You can also adopt at the Aquarium; come for a visit during public hours, decide which animal you would like to help support, and arrange an Aquadoption while you’re there.
